Sister White and I are loving life right now. We're both absolutely bonkers, but we work well together. We both have lots of ideas, experience under our belts, and--with only a little over two months left--fire under our...you-know-what's. It's been a juggling act trying to mesh our routines or "way of doing things", organize the apartment, set goals, develop our own system and still get the work done everyday. The best visual I can give you is two motivated, purpose-driven, fired-up missionaries sprinting at full tilt towards a target after first spinning on the spot ten times. It's been absolutely crazy, but we love it and we have no intentions of slowing down.
Found an awesome new investigator this week! His name is Roy. He's 30, divorced, and has a 3-year-old daughter named Lily. He somehow managed to get ahold of Bishop Barton's home phone number and requested to meet with missionaries. Apparently he has known about the church for more than ten years, and during all those years of searching for the true church, the Book of Mormon kept coming to his mind and he felt a strong impression telling him that this was the one. He knows that if he had followed that prompting, his life would have turned out much differently. He had a lot of questions for us during our first lesson with him, and brought up baptism before we had the chance to. We're meeting with him again tonight at Bishop's house!
Another short one. Probably gonna stay that way! Nothing's slowing down.
I LOOOOOOVE you!
Sister Black
